In June 2010, Lucy Shenouda founded FosterEssence Inc., combining her expertise in marketing and strategic planning with Leadership and Team Coaching. Lucy’s coaching approach, marked by her ‘Bold with Grace’ style, fosters both ease and tenacity—a blend she calls ‘ten-easity.’ As a trusted partner, she creates the conditions for authentic conversations, empowering high-potential leaders and teams to achieve their most important goals. With a systemic lens, Lucy cultivates collective leadership, courageous authenticity, and resilience. Her coaching inspires a mindset shift from reactivity to receptivity and responsiveness, driving real impact and meaningful change.

Through a comprehensive needs assessment, she co-designs an integrated leadership and team development plan. Lucy Shenouda is the founder of FosterEssence Inc., a marketing strategist, and a leadership and team coach based in the Greater Toronto Area. She is a Systemic Team Coaching faculty member on the GTCI Practitioner and Senior Practitioner Program, having started her journey with Professor Peter Hawkins as part of the 2020 GTCI Launch Team. Fluent in English, Lucy draws on extensive marketing experience in corporate leadership roles with Fortune and Global 500 organizations in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region, excelling in coaching conversations focused on operational excellence, team alignment, and resilient leadership. Her professional background includes collaborating with global brand ambassadors to co-lead marketing and learning integration for renowned brands such as Unilever, McDonald’s, Nestlé, and Showtime Arabia (now OSN).

Lucy is an ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC) with an Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC) and is an EMCC Global Accredited Team Coach at Senior Practitioner Level (TCQA). With extensive expertise in assessments, coaching supervision, and team coaching practices, Lucy is uniquely positioned to support her clients’ growth and transformation. Her rich life experiences across cultures equip her to guide global leaders and teams in unlocking their potential and navigating complex challenges.

Lucy is a specialist in team development through systemic team coaching, offering a perspective that goes beyond traditional team building. Her approach ensures that a team’s actions, goals, and purpose are deeply interconnected with the broader organization’s purpose and strategy.
